I am an old player of Role Playing games. I want to thank Michael for giving me his card and allowing me to view this Excellent thought out RPG . It has merit in lots of areas, my only concern is that you talk a lot about the positives, are there no negatives or downsides to each area?

Good question. I will now discuss the negatives.
#1: I removed damage dice rolls and all dice except the 1d20. I did this to make the game easier and simpler, also less mathematics involved. I noticed that new players love this while experienced players prefer multiple dice. Experienced players love rolling lots of dice.
#2: This game has 100+ Masteries, which are used to create characters. Experienced players love all the options and capabilities, but new players sometimes find this overwhelming at first. Once they get used to it, however, they seem okay with it.
#3: Despite my best efforts to balance out the game, anyone who can fly has an advantage and is hard to deal with, especially if they use ranged attacks/spells.
#4: Most players love Transformation Masteries. However, a small number of people have complained that Transformation Masteries are so powerful that players are forced to take one. I don't see this as a problem because I feel that Transformations offer power and storyline for characters. If players truly don't like Transformations, then the players and Game Master can agree to ban them from the game. Also, most games have classes that transform you anyway, so I am surpised that anyone would complain about it.
I think I have covered the most significant weaknesses in TIER. If anyone else wishes to comment on this, I would love to read your thoughts.

I looked at your poll and realized what you meant by negatives. In my years of gaming experience, I learned that most players don't like negatives in games. Therefore, my Masteries do not give any negatives to your stats or character.
I believe a good game is based upon empowering players, not putting them down.
Honestly, I do have one Mastery in the entire game that gives a small negative, but the positives that it gives back are incredible. Listed below is the only Mastery in the game that has any negatives (and the negatives disappear at Epic levels).
Depression: You live a miserable life and everything goes wrong for you. You take a -1 penalty on all dice rolls. But you also gain the following benefits: you look so depressing that intelligent creatures never directly attack you unless you provoke them or pose a threat. But you can be attacked by accident, such as a fireball hitting a target near you. If you are helping someone who is attacking an enemy, the enemy may consider you a threat and attack you directly. Any creature with 6 Intelligence or lower may also directly attack you normally. In addition, your depression reduces your energy output, which means that spells used for reading, location, scrying, detection of alignment, magic aura, power level, and etc. do not work on you. At Epic levels, you no longer take a -1 penalty on all dice rolls. Pre-req: ability score 10 or lower for Charisma. If you ever increase this ability score, you lose the benefits of this Mastery and can only replace it with another Personality Mastery.
