This game has been long awaiting its debut. The beta testing was successful and now its finally here. Character classes and abilities are strong and unique. Videos are great, game graphics are adequate. Gameplay is smooth.
I'm excited to see how Diablo 3 affects the MMORPG world. Will Diablo 3 take away gamers from the famous World of Warcraft? Will Diablo 3 set new standards and revolutionize all future MMORPGS? Or will it fall short and be soon forgotten?
I personally think it will fall short due to the fact that other MMORPGS have more character classes to choose from. Other MMORPGS can also support more players on the same map than Diablo 3. I think the biggest problem will be World of Warcraft because most players will not be willing to hang up that addiction any time soon.

I recently spoke to gamers about Diablo 3 and they are disappointed. Some even say that Diablo 2 is better. This game took 12 years to create, so it should have more to offer. The graphics are weak, the game is short (but allows you to beat it multiple times on higher difficulties), and characters can only reach level 60.
One major issue is that there is no player vs. player and you can only have up to 4 players together at a time. Also, the Monk and Barbarian cannot survive alone in Inferno difficulty. Players are saying that certain character classes are simply better than others.
People are also complaining about how finding items doesn't mean as much anymore since you can buy items at the auction house. This was one of the most important unique traits of Diablo 2 that you had to find the best items by chance instead of just buying them.
The final and most important issue is that many gamers are having trouble installing the game. There are countless posts online about issues with anti-virus programs and firewalls blocking the installation.
However, the storyline is very good and the game is entertaining. It also had the highest number of pre-orders for a PC game in the history of Amazon.com. I'm also sure that Diablo 3 will have patches to fix character classes and other bugs and issues with the game. I'm going to wait a few weeks to buy Diablo 3. I'm sure by then most issues will be solved.

I started playing Diablo 3 and it's a lot of fun. I'm playing the Witch Doctor, which is very good for crowd control.
If I had to make another character, I would try the sorcerer because she's very flashy and deals lots of damage. The barbarian seems powerful, but boring. The coolest thing he has is whirlwind. The Monk is a virtual tank with interesting Mantra powers (very similar to the paladin auras from Diablo 2). The demon hunter is fast and powerful, but more challenging to use effectively.
The game only lets you place attacks on keyboard numbers 1-4. I wish they would change it so you could place attacks on numbers 1-9. Another major weakness is that you can only play with up to 4 players instead of 8 players like in Diablo 2.
However, Diablo 3 has major improvements. Graphics and storyline are much better than before. I like how the NPCs are actually important to storyline and play continuously significant roles in the game. They made teleportation back to town and identifying items easier.
Gems are now more useful and easier to understand. Magic items are now simpler, but more important for character classes and easier to customize. The best thing they did was remove the Horadric Cube. That was a very annoying and stupid item. They also improved the Stash system and it appears for all of your characters so you can easily trade items between one another.
I can't wait for the expansion to come out because right now the game is too short, not enough classes, and you can only reach level 60. Hopefully an expansion will improve all of these aspects.
The game is totally worth buying for the storyline. I love RPGs for storyline and this game has done a great job, including really nice videos. However, if you are looking for a real MMORPG, I would suggest waiting for the expansion or playing WoW and other games like Champions Online (which is free and has many characters, maps, storyline quests, and numerous customization options).
