I wanted players to level-up faster than normal so they could experience the full game in a reasonable amount of time. In order to accomplish this goal, I increased the amount of experience points gained from monsters and reduced the amount of experience points needed to gain level-ups. This allows the game to have a continuous flow of rewards and gives players the opportunity to experiment with many different characters and Masteries.
