We started a new campaign that takes place in 12th century feudal Japan! My main character is James Butler. He is a butler/servant to other players in the group who are all warriors. James is unique because he fights with his fists and has access to two Cleric Domains: Healing and Hospitality. James can fight unarmed and use magic to provide healing, food/water, and magical shelters for the party.
Another player, Anthony, is a ninja warrior who is very stealthy and sneak attacks enemies from hiding. He died in the first session and was revived using the soul of a dead villain! Now he is bipolar and has random conversations with the dead villain's spirit that's inside him.
Our last player, Chris, accidentally cheated for most of the first game session due to incorrect usage of magic spells, but we fixed his character issues and now he's okay. His character is known as the Crippler because he uses Limb Shot to disable enemies' arms and legs. He also has access to two Cleric Domains: Hunting and Torture. When he's not using Limb Shot, he cripples enemies using Ray of Enfeeblement cast into his short sword of spell storing.
Our campaign had a wild start. Our party fought angry samurai, a huge wolf spirit monster, earth elementals, rat swarms, sexy female spirit demons, and dinosaurs. They also barely escaped a powerful red dragon.

We gained two new players in our Feudal Japan campaign. One player is a male Kobold ninja named Sniv who hides and does sneak attacks with arrows. He also has a few spell-like abilities (Invisibility and Teleport) that come in handy to help our party be stealthy and/or escape to safety. He likes to gamble, break into places, and steal from others. Sniv got caught picking locks and wandering around a mansion at night and got kicked out the next morning.
The other player is a female dual-wielding human warrior named June who can also summon shadow clones to attack his enemies. June is a really nice woman who gets along well with everyone. She impressed a new NPC named Naya. Naya invited June to her mansion to stay the night and received a tour of the mansion the next morning as well.
I also introduced a new NPC named Naya. She's a dual-wielding Kobold, very tanky with breastplate armor and a buckler, who likes to charge into battle. Naya is a cute girl who was adopted by rich human parents as a baby. Naya does dance performances in the city as a fun job. Her family became rich over a hundred years ago when they started the 1st major transportation company. Naya lives with her family (mom and dad and servants) at their mansion.
After Naya, Sniv, and June became friends, they decided to go adventuring to the cursed forest of spirits. Right at the entrance of the forest, they were attacked by an adult blue dragon! The dragon shot its breath weapon and the group dove out of the way. Naya charged head-on into the dragon and attacked it with her two Kukri daggers. Naya dealt the most damage, but also took the most damage and almost died! Sniv hid and landed two successful sneak attacks for good damage. June summoned shadow clones to attack the dragon. Eventually, Naya got the killing blows with her Kukri daggers and won the battle. The group started removing scales from the dragon corpse, but then three other blue dragons showed up for revenge! Thankfully, Sniv teleported us back to Naya's mansion. We got cleaned up, healed, and relaxed the rest of the day there. Naya's father was grateful for Sniv and June helping her survive the adventure.

We had another exciting game session in feudal Japan. A monsoon hit the city and the heroes had to do their best to rescue people and help rebuild the city. The coolest thing that happened was a giant tree was going to wipe out a house and one of the players slashed the tree in half with enough Force to make the pieces fly apart and miss the house. After the monsoon, a religious cult spoke with a Japanese emperor and got permission to do human sacrifices to satisfy the gods and prevent future disasters. Our party found out where the human sacrifices were taking place and killed the religious cult members and their leader. However, four out of 10 people were sacrificed. The game session was intense and a lot of fun :-)

Feudal Japan campaign quest update:
We ventured to the Hidden Leaf village!!!! One of our players, Robin the flamethrower, is a ninja from there and he brought Naya (female pink Kobold dual wielder) along. It was supposed to be a 2-day trek to the village, but Naya made it without rest in one and a half days. She also healed our party a few times and helped them push onward without sleep.
When they arrived, Naya was super excited, running around and talking with everyone she could find. Kakashi thought Naya was annoying, so he placed her in a genjutsu, but Naya made her Will save and broke out after two rounds! Kakashi was impressed, so he approached Naya, introduced himself, and allowed Naya to run around the village as she pleased.
Naya continued running around happily and attracted attention from everyone. Sakura thought that Naya was being loud and annoying, so she got into a fight with Naya! A few people watched, expecting Sakura to win easily, but the fight was an even match! Everyone started watching, including our whole party and even Naruto! Sakura and Naya created an epic moment where they both charged each other and rolled a natural 20!!! The attack created a shock wave that pushed the crowd backward and both Sakura and Naya agreed to end their battle as a draw.
Naruto, Sakura, and our party ate ramen together at a restaurant and exchanged stories. Lots of role-playing happened and eventually we went back to Robin's family home. They got into the hot springs for relaxation, slept, and left the next morning to return to their home city in Japan. Hidden Leaf village acknowledged Naya as a ninja and told her she was welcome to return anytime.

Things got crazy in the last session of Feudal Japan. The emperor invited us to his palace to talk. The conversation was intense at the beginning because he was annoyed that we kept messing up his plans. For example, he was annoyed that we rescued civilians who were supposed to be sacrificed to the gods as tribute. The emperor is also powerful and even has his own fear aura. I thought he was going to kill us. After a while, however, he calmed down and told us something surprising. The emperor considers our party to be divine beings sent by the gods! He said "anyone who is strong enough to defeat my samurai and oppose my will must be divine beings sent by the gods." He believes that it is better to befriend us than to harm us because it may anger the gods.
After further conversation, he also revealed a sinister plot. Apparently the Axe Gang is causing many problems in his city of Japan, but we already knew that. The scary part is that the emperor believes that the leader of the Axe Gang is one of his own Samurai and is inside the palace! If the emperor can't detect the presence of an enemy in his own Samurai ranks, then the Axe Gang leader must be powerful. The emperor asked us to get rid of the Axe Gang and find the imposter Samurai. We agreed and left the palace.
We thought the day was over, until a group of Samurai outside the palace doors started messing with us. They've never liked us because of previous quests and issues, but this time one Samurai got super angry and tried attacking us. The other Samurai stopped him, but then an evil Yokai demon spirit went into the guy's body and he transformed into a huge shadowy Samurai monster! The other Samurai ran away in fear, claiming that they needed to defend their emperor, so it was up to us (Sniv the rogue, Robin the flamethrower, and Naya the sword and shield warrior) to take out this monster. We fought bravely and almost all died! The shadow Samurai monster was able to hit all of us multiple times with large wide swings of his huge katana. He was also able to charge and attack twice! His Power Attacks were brutal! We killed the shadow Samurai monster and people behind the palace walls applauded us. They had no idea how to deal with this monster and thanked us. The other Samurai watched the battle from afar and returned speechless. One Samurai approached us and gave us a high-five, admitting that we impressed them. After that, we returned home, trained a bit, and went to sleep.
