Hello everyone! Let's talk about TIER stats and dating in real life. Yes they are connected!
Someone recently tried to explain why ability scores don't matter for role play, but they sure matter in dating!
Everyone follows the basic dating scale of judging men and women to be 1-10. We can all agree that we would NEVER date someone who's a 4 or lower right? Or at least we would never tell our friends about it, lol. Well, guess what? A score of 4 on our dating scale would be the equivalent of 8 Charisma! Yikes! Scary!
In the TIER world, I'd imagine someone with 8 Charisma to be like a barbarian, dirty and intimidating. Probably only hooks up with drunk wenches at the city inn.
Now let's talk about a person who's a 6 or 7 on the dating scale. This is above average and considered good looking and realistic. This is someone you'd introduce to your friends and parents, probably someone you'd marry one day. A score of 6 or 7 on our dating scale would be the equivalent of 12 or 14 Charisma! That's awesome!
In the TIER world, I would imagine someone with 12 or 14 Charisma to be like a priestess or knight. Probably has a good reputation and well-liked by others.
Now let's talk about a person with 8-10 on our dating scale. This is way above average and usually out of our league, as our friends often joke with us. You might hook up with someone like this once or twice in your life, maybe getting lucky at a party or on vacation. This is like a hot party girl/guy, news reporter, or even a model/celebrity. A score of 8-10 on our dating scale would be the equivalent of 16-20 Charisma! That's incredible!
In the TIER world, I would imagine someone with 16-20 Charisma to be like a hot sorceress or bard, someone who looks incredible and can impress any crowd and get any guy or girl they want. This person has a big reputation and is well-known by all.
After reading everything above, I surely hope you now understand how important stats are. I used Charisma because I felt it was the easiest stat to explain. But a similar explanation can be applied to every ability score in the TIER world. Love you all and have a nice day 😃
